Nobukazu (1872 - 1944 )
Nobukazu Watanabe was a woodblock print artist active during the during the late 19th century. A student of Chikanobu Toyohara, Nobukazu worked across a variety of genres, from senso-e (war prints) depicting the Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895) to scenes of Meiji-period modernization. He used the go Yosai. His prints can be found in the collections of institutions worldwide, including the Victoria & Albert in London and Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
