Sano, Seiji (1959-Present) View Works

Born in Shizuoka prefecture in 1959, Seiji Sano moved to creative center of Kyoto in 1978 and began the study of Japanese printmaking with Ido Masao. Like those of his teacher, Seiji Sano’s prints portray the natural beauty of Japan, but with a more natural, muted color scheme. These stunning wood prints for sale invite viewers to celebrate the historical beauty of Kyoto, effusing the spirit of a Japan past.
