This black and white print (sumizuri) was published around 1949. Though the design dates to September 1921, the design was published postumously by the artist's family. The simple lines of the print have a weightless quality that is anchored by the black cat in the corner. Overall, this simple print is an excellent example of the serene manner in which Goyo depicted domestic scenes. The engraver of the keyblock was Masazo Koike.
