Fanciful Creatures: Color Etchings by Motoi Oi
Ronin Gallery is pleased to present a collection of prints and Japanese color etchings featuring a variety of fanciful creatures by mixed media print artist Motoi Oi (1910-2004). Motoi Oi, whose work is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC and the National Gallery in Washington DC, is well known for his bold and colorful approach towards printmaking. Nowhere is his unique style better expressed than in his cats, birds, frogs and other real and imaginary creatures. Using both vivid color and black and white, these prints will delight any collector who values boldness and imagination.
