As house cats prowl among dragons and leopards don kabuki costumes, foxes cause mischief and horses carry their riders to battle and beyond. Ranging from 19th-century surimono to contemporary painting, Animals Real and Imagined includes ukiyo-e masters such as Hokusai, Hiroshige, and Kuniyoshi, as well as modern talents such as Shoson, Mori, and Nakayama.
