Hao Ping (1952-Present) View Works

Widely exhibited in China, Japan, Europe and the U.S., Hao Ping (郝平) is a visionary of Chinese printmaking. Born in Yunnan Province, his prints consider the culture and experience of the ethnic minorities of South East China. Through the use of bold color, geometric composition, and varying levels of abstraction, Hao Ping has a distinct style that reflects that of the Yunnan Art School. His modern woodblock prints can be found in the collections of the China Fine Art Museum, The Asia Pacific Museum (U.S.), and the British Woodcut Foundation.
