About the artist
Yoichiro Nishikawa is a Japanese print artist best known for his abstract lithographs. His compositions present layered planes rendered in diverse textures and shimmering highlights. Born in Saga Prefecture, Nishikawa graduated from Tama Art University Graduate school. Since the 1980s, he has exhibited his work regularly. Today, Yoichiro Nishkawa's lithographs can be found in institutions such as the National Museum of Asian Art in DC and the British Museum in London.
