About the artist
Kenji Ushiku was a 20th-century printmaker who worked in both etching and lithography. Ushiku attended Tokyo School of Fine Arts and published his first etchings and engravings the mid-1950s. Since then, his have been exhibited internationally. Between 1960 and 1980 both Japanese and American publishers commissioned Kenji Ushiku's color etchings and aquatints.
