About the artist
Tsuakasa Yoshida is the son of artists Toshi Yoshida and Kiso Yoshida and acts as the current director of the Yoshida Studio. He produced his first woodblock print at the age of twenty-one and in 1981 represented the third generation of Yoshida artists in the famous Three Generations exhibit in Philadelphia. His work blends symbolism and realism, taking on a decidedly modern tone.
