About the artist
Li Yansong is an emerging artist based out of Beijing, China. All of his works are made of copper plate with mezzotint in black and white. In describing his own works Li Yansong said, "I follow my instincts and throw away all, trying to capture the reality that is quoted but cannot be seen and to watch it closely to see it appear and to explore the methods of this narrative of time and events in order to find the real self and the real truth. My work is a record of time and a creation of space that will take me down a long path with no end."
