About the artist
Koko Takane (or Koji Takane) was printmaker working in the Shin Hanga style during the 20th century. Very little is known about this artist and very few designs have been attributed to him. The few designs known today present bijin, or “beautiful women” and were published by Daireisha during the 1930s.
