Triptychs: Beauties

Triptychs: Beauties View Works

Ronin Gallery is pleased to present a collection of 19th century ukiyo-e triptych art prints that portray women’s fashions, pastimes and customs. From prints depicting young mothers and fashionable girls, to courtesan art and geisha woodblock prints. Whether boating on riverbanks, playing the samisen, strolling through gardens, or reading, writing and painting, the women portrayed in these Japanese art pieces lived a "seemingly idyllic life." Some of the artists represented in the collection are Kunisada, Kunichika, Chikanobu,Gekko and Shuntei. They have all been specially priced under $1500.
