Yoshitoshi's 32 Aspects of Women
Ronin Gallery is pleased to present 14 prints from Yoshitoshi's acclaimed series Thirty-two Aspects of Women (1888). The portraits of this series cross social classes, occupations and eras as Yoshitoshi considers the beauties of past and present. Executed with rich color and detail, many of these works are enhanced with mica, metallic pigments, gaufrage and other embellishments. The selected prints of women are all early impressions with the three color cartouche and in very good condition.
