Hokuga (act.1804 - 1844 )

Hokuga Katsushika was a student of Hokusai that specialized in surimono – small-scale, privately commissioned prints renowned for their lavish printing. He was a talented illustrator and colorist whose works can be found in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the British Museum, and the Tokyo National Museum.
