Lu, Zhiping (1947 - Present)
Lu Zhiping was born in Shanghai in 1947 and received formal artistic training from both East China Normal University and the College of Fine Art of Shanghai University. His work has received critical acclaim and has been featured in numerous one-man and group exhibitions, both within China and internationally. His artistic talent is held in high esteem in Japan where his works were featured in the 2007 Tokyo International Lithography Exhibition.
In addition, Lu Zhiping is a member of the committee for lithographic art of China Artists Association, a permanent member of the Shanghai Artists Association and the director of the committee for lithographic art of the Shanghai Artists Association. He is also considered a first-class artist of the Shanghai Oil Painting & Sculpture Institute.
