Teisai, Sencho (Act.1830 - 1850 )
Sencho Tesai was an ukiyo-e artist of the mid-19th century. Born in 1812, Sencho was a student of Eisen Keisai (1790-1848). Sencho focused primarily on bijin-ga, or “pictures of beautiful women,” similar in style to those of his teacher.
