Chikuseki (fl.1880 - 1910 )
Very little is known about the woodblock print artist Chikuseki. Active in Tokyo between c.1880 and 1910, Chikuseki produced delicate kacho-e, or bird-and-flower pictures, at times in the shikishiban (square) format which became popular in the early 20th century.
