Shinoda, Toko (1913 - 2021 )
Born in Dalian, Manchuria, Toko Shinoda was a world famous abstract artist. Though she explored severals mediums throughout her career, her preference was lithography. Throughout her long career, Shinoda earned an international reputation of such stature that Time magazine compared her accomplishments to those of Picasso. Her abstract lithographs can be found in major art collections around the world, such as the British Museum and the Museum of Modern Art New York.
