Born in Hokkaido, Tsuneyoshi Hagiwara graduated from Hokkaido University of Education in 1957. He studied with Sumio Kawakami and belongs to the Hokkaido Print Society. Hagiwara has exhibited his woodblock-printed still lifes and scenes of his native Hokkaido in solo shows and groups shows alike.
