About the artist
Joining the Suzhou Taohuawu Woodcut Printmaking School in 1979, Lu Ping developed an international audience by 1983. Exhibiting his work in Italy, Canada, Japan, Sweden and the U.S., his work holds a universal appeal. Raised in Suzhou, many of Lu Ping's works present the winding canals and countless bridges of his hometown.
