Fukutaro Terauchi was a 19th century watercolor artist and print designer known for his quiet landscapes. Born in 1891, he was the student of Kiyoteru Kuroda. Unfortunately, little else is known about this artist. He should not be confused with the famous yoga, or “western-style painting,” artist Manjiro Terauchi.
“Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen.” - Leonardo da Vinci
