Hokucho (1810-1850) View Works

Hokucho 北頂 was a woodblock printmaker who lived and worked in Osaka. A pupil of Hokushu, Hokucho developed into a talented artist specializing in Kabuki actors. His prints are currently included in prominent collections such as the V&A in London.
