Eigyo (fl. 1890-1900) View Works

Eigyo was a woodblock print artist active during the Meiji period. A pupil of Eishi in the last years of the master’s life, Eigyo specialized in bijin-ga or “beautiful women,” and completed senso-e, or "war prints," during the Sino-Japanese War (1894-1895).
