About the artist
Avito Koyama is Japanese printmaker best known for his vivid silkscreen prints. Born in Okayama, Koyama attended Sokei Art School. He has participated in exhibitions such as the British International Print Biennial in Bradford, England, the Japan Contemporary Art Exhibition, and the CWAJ Print Show. His works can be found in the permanent collection of the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum, Bradford City Art Museum, as well as prefectural museums in Tochigi, Hyogo, and Saitama Prefectures.
