About the artist

Shitanda Zen is a contemporary woodblock print artist. Born in Hiroshima in 1953, he attended Tama University of Fine Arts in Tokyo. Using saturated colors and elements of abstraction, Shitanda Zen creates richly textured woodblock prints.
